Man Utd are hoping to have Benjamin Sesko back at the “beginning of December”, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Slovenian international injured his knee during the 2-2 draw against Tottenham before the international break, but Romano says the striker won’t be out for too long:
“Manchester United staff expect to have Benjamin Seeko back training with the group at the beginning of December.”
“Slovenian striker expected to be sidelined for around 3 weeks, not a serious/long injury as reported 10 days ago.”
Sesko may only miss two fixtures
The fact that the forward sustained the injury right before the international break means that he is already a fair way through his rehabilitation, having not missed a single club game so far.
However, Sesko won’t be in the matchday squad on Monday night when Ruben Amorim’s side take on Everton, and he will also miss the trip to face Crystal Palace at the end of the month.
It remains to be seen whether the 22-year-old will be available when the Red Devils play West Ham at Old Trafford on December 4th.
