Man Utd are among the teams who have “registered an interest” in Nottingham Forest fullback Neco Williams, according to BBC reporter Sami Mokbel.
The journalist is usually very reliable when it comes to transfer stories, and he claims both the Red Devils and Newcastle are competing for the former Liverpool player’s signature.
Supporters on X are not particularly happy with this latest transfer link, with many questioning whether Williams would add anything to the current squad:
Should be going in for Lewis Hall!!

Man Utd are in the market for a full-back
Williams is right-footed, but he has played the majority of his senior games at left-back, which is a position that United are looking to strengthen.
The departure of Tyrell Malacia on a free transfer means that Luke Shaw does not have any competition for his place, which is a concern.
Although the 30-year-old had a markedly improved fitness record last season, he didn’t have to cope with European games, which will be on the calendar next campaign.
Williams is clearly one of the options under consideration to reinforce the left-back spot, along with Newcastle’s Lewis Hall.

Williams is in talks over a new contract
It is probably not a coincidence that the Wales international is currently negotiating a contract extension with Nottingham Forest.
There is a good chance that Williams’ agent is encouraging interest from other teams in order to strengthen his negotiating position.
Of course, if talks do break down, it would make a potential sale more likely, so fans should keep a close eye on developments.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
