Ex-Man Utd midfielder Quinton Fortune has urged Man Utd to make a move for Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson.
The Senegalese international is on the market this summer, with his asking price set at £65m, and Fortune believes he could provide decent competition for Benjamin Sesko:
“Nicolas Jackson is an option for Manchester United. He’s coming off his loan at Bayern Munich and keeps getting clubs, so he must have something. I see him as more of a goal poacher. If you look at the purest of the pure footballers, he’s not a striker to bring it down and play it like Dimitar Berbatov or Wayne Rooney or Dwight Yorke, but that’s what I like about him too.”
Fortune also makes a bold statement by saying that Jackson shares plenty of characteristics with Manchester City’s no.9 Erling Haaland:
“He’s just an out-and-out striker. He doesn’t really care about anything else apart from getting into the box and getting on the end of whatever service he’s provided, and there’s nothing wrong with that. That’s still the hardest part of the game. He’s almost like Erling Haaland at times, and he shouldn’t get involved in the play so much. Tell the other guys they can do all the hard work, and I’ll score the goals.”
“Whether he’s right for United, I don’t know about that, but you don’t play for Chelsea and Bayern Munich if you haven’t got something about you. I just think United need a little bit more. I do like Nicolas Jackson but think United need the best of the best.”
Jackson was targeted last summer
The 25-year-old has been on United’s radar in the past. BBC journalist Nizaar Kinsella reported last July that they “held talks” with the player’s agent Ali Barat.
Jackson eventually joined Bayern Munich on loan for the 2025/26 season before returning to Stamford Bridge at the start of July after the Bundesliga champions decided against triggering their purchase clause.
United have not been linked with the Chelsea star recently, with Aston Villa having been tipped as the most likely team to make an offer. Their manager, Unai Emery, previously worked with him at Villarreal.
Man Utd will only sign a forward if Zirkzee leaves
Director of Football Jason Wilcox is believed to be focused on adding a left-back and, potentially, another midfielder to the first-team squad.
However, if Joshua Zirkzee were to be sold over the coming weeks, a replacement would be needed. The Dutchman could move back to Italy, with the likes of Roma and Juventus having been credited with an interest.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
