Man Utd have yet to give the “final green light” to the transfer of Ederson, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said that the player is “waiting for Man Utd” to make a decision on whether they want to sign him:
“Man Utd are still in that process of discussing internally, because they have several candidates for the midfield position, not only Ederson, so the Ederson deal is advanced with the player, for sure. They’re in conversations with Atalanta, for sure.”
“Man Utd travelled with a delegation to Italy to discuss about Ederson and more for their transfer window, incomings, exits and more. That’s why at the moment there’s no final green light. It could be any moment. Ederson is waiting for Man Utd.”
Ederson is not their 1st choice
It is becoming increasingly apparent that the Red Devils only want to get a deal in place for the Brazilian just in case they can’t secure the signatures of other players.
An agreement over the transfer fee and personal terms does not appear to be the problem, but United are holding fire on giving their final approval.
Whether Ederson will be happy with how things are playing out, we shall have to wait and see. Atletico Madrid have also been linked with the player in the past few weeks.

Who do Man Utd want to sign instead?
There are six midfielders in total that Director of Football Jason Wilcox and manager Michael Carrick have identified as potential targets.
In addition to Ederson, it is believed Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson, Newcastle’s Sandro Tonali, Real Madrid’s Aurelien Tchouameni, West Ham’s Mateus Fernandes and Brighton’s Carlos Baleba are all under consideration.
At this stage, Fernandes and Baleba appear to be deemed lower priorities. Anderson, Tonali and Tchouameni are the big fish.
The first two are expected to cost at least £100m, and will have other suitors. Tchouameni is probably the player United want instead of Ederson, but it doesn’t look like he is interested in moving to Old Trafford.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
