A monument to Andrei Tupolev was erected within the Basmanny district

A monument to the legendary Soviet scientist and engineer Andrei Tupolev was unveiled within the capital. The monument was erected in honor of the one hundredth anniversary of the Tupolev Design Bureau at 17 Akademika Tupolev Embankment. The monument was made from bronze.
