Paul Merson is expecting a high-scoring draw when Man Utd face Liverpool at Old Trafford this weekend.
Writing in his column for Sportskeeda, Merson said the away side need a result more than the Red Devils, and he hasn’t been that impressed by what he has seen from Michael Carrick’s side in recent matches:
“Unlike previous years, this isn’t the biggest game in English football anymore! It’s still massive for both teams, though. If Liverpool lose and Brighton beat Newcastle, there will only be five points separating the Reds and the Seagulls in sixth.”
“When you look at Liverpool’s fixtures after this game as well, they are not absolute give-me contests. Chelsea at Anfield, Aston Villa away and Brentford again at home is a tricky run.”
“Manchester United were poor against Leeds and I don’t think they were great in the wins over Chelsea and Brentford either. Liverpool can cause them problems and I expect there will be goals in this game.”
What score has Merson predicted for Man Utd vs Liverpool?
The Sky Sports pundit has gone with a 2-2 draw, which would be seen as a disappointing result, considering that Carrick will be keen to secure a big win against a rival club.
Liverpool have been picking up results recently, but they haven’t always looked convincing defensively, and there is a chance to get one over them this weekend.

Man Utd vs Liverpool team news
Carrick could welcome back Matheus Cunha (hip), who sat out the 2-1 win over Brentford. However, there are doubts over the fitness of Luke Shaw, who had to be substituted on Monday night.
Matthijs de Ligt (back) is not ready to return to first-team action, while Lisandro Martinez will serve the final match of his three-game ban.
Liverpool, meanwhile, could have Alisson back available, but they will be without Mo Salah (hamstring), Conor Bradley (knee), Hugo Ekitike (Achilles), Giovanni Leoni (ACL), Wataru Endo (ankle) and Giorgi Mamardashvilli (gashed leg).

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
